Senate Majority Leader Dominic Pileggi (R-9) is hosting a Kids’ Fun Fair in Aston on Saturday, October 12, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The free event will be held rain or shine at Sun Valley High School, 2881 Pancoast Ave, Aston. Parents and grandparents are encouraged to attend with their children and grandchildren.
“The Kids’ Fun Fair features many interactive and educational exhibits,” Senator Pileggi said. “In addition, representatives from a wide variety of community organizations and government agencies will be there with information about the services they provide for area families and children.”
Programs at the Kids’ Fun Fair include exhibits from the Philadelphia Zoo and the Franklin Institute. The Philadelphia Zoo will present its Zoo on Wheels “Who’s Who at the Zoo” program, and the Franklin Institute will offer its Traveling Science Show. Other activities include music, face-painting, a “moon bounce,” and refreshments.
Also scheduled to be on hand are representatives from many local and state agencies, including the Delaware County Library System, the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, the Delaware County Sheriff’s office, local police departments and the Pennsylvania State Police, and Girl Scouts of Southeastern Pennsylvania.
