Weather could dampen Parkesburg’s Annual Fair

Thunder Storm The Keystone Valley Fire Department‘s Annual Fair is scheduled to begin today, located at Minch Park in Parkesburg Borough, with fireworks Friday July 5th, after dark. However, Parkesburg’s forecast through Saturday could keep turnout low.

Be sure to dress the kids appropriately. The National Weather service is predicting a chance of thunderstorms every day except Friday. Additionally, a Flash Flood Watch remains in effect through this evening for much of the area, including western Chester County. Fortunately, Parkesburg’s fireworks display should be held as scheduled.

South wind 7 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Tonight: A chance of showers, mainly before 2am. Cloudy, with a low around 69. South wind 5 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Wednesday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 84. South wind 6 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
